Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, Harvard University, holds its annual retreat every year. It is a day-long meeting that brings together all members of the Institute community including faculty, researchers, technical and administrative staff, fellows, clinical collaborators, and students. The agenda gives the latest updates on the innovations and technology translation efforts taking place at the Institute, delivered through presentations, posters, and demonstrations.

Ken gave a poster presentation about his organ-on-a-chip work in this meeting.

Takahashi Lab at Okayama University uses principles of physiology, cellular and molecular biology, and biophysics. The purpose of the lab is to develop science and medicine by unveiling the mechanisms of diseases through collaborations with scientists, epidemiologists, and corporate alliances. The alliance includes Harvard University, Boston University, Tokyo University of Science, and PD Aerospace, Ltd.
