UNCTADによる研究者育成プログラムの初会合

情報計算化学生物学会にて臓器チップ研究の成果を発表

COVID-19とどう闘うか:論文査読?!

Okayama University provides support for researchers with outstanding research achievements, promoting research strengths and fostering young researchers. In this context, the university has established a “research associate professor” system, which acts as an incentive system for lecturers and assistant professors. On August 24, a ceremony was held to give the title of research associate professor to the 8 elected lecturers and assistant professors, including Ken Takahashi, who had excellent research achievements. 一流ビデオ科学誌JoVEのビデオ撮影

Takahashi Lab filmed the article “Model of Ischemic Heart Disease and Video-Based Comparison of Cardiomyocyte Contraction Using hiPSC-Derived Cardiomyocytes” published in the Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE). Ph.D. students in the laboratory mainly contributed to the publication of this paper. In addition to carefully checking the experimental procedure, the “actresses” and “actors” memorized the lines and performed two rehearsals in advance. Thanks to their preparation, filming was a lot of fun. JoVE is the leading peer-reviewed video method journal. Japan Society for Medical and Biological Engineering, which has a history of 58 years and has 2,700 members, held its first-ever online conference in May 2020. Ken Takahashi, as a member of the executive committee, helped bring this JSMBE annual meeting online by establishing operation procedures and carrying out public relations activities via twitter and facebook. The 59th Annual Conference of Japanese Society for Medical and Biological Engineering (JSMBE) was originally planned as an on-site meeting as “usual”. 研究報告2019: Heart-on-chipによる心筋梗塞時不整脈のメカニズム解明

The principal investigator, Ken Takahashi, traveled to Boston, USA from the end of July 2018, and began research at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University. His original plan was to complete the joint research at the end of July 2019 and return to Japan.
